Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

Because Northumbria University creates a good study environment and the facilities in the Newcastle Business School are very good e.g Bloomberg Terminal.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Lower expenses cost compared to other regions. People are very nice in Newcastle!

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The public transportation is very convenient, nightlife is very happening.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes. There are a lot of International Students' studying in Northumbria, so students that come from the same country as you, are easy to meet.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

24/7 Library - I can go anytime when i want!

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Course lecturer have helped me a lot during the assignment weeks.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Bloomberg Terminal

What is the best thing about your course?

Less assignments and exams compared to other courses.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

I have learnt how to watch the stock price and trade the stocks.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I will be going back to Malaysia to work. I will be working in a local bank. I know how to access the Blommberg Terminal and I know basic knowledge of the finance sector.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Yes, I have improved my English communication skills, I have confident to speak English to the locals.
