BSc Physiotherapy

What do you like most about the course?

I enjoy the practical seminars where we learn new skills; we often practice on each other. The teaching methods means we learn in a fun way which makes it easier to understand.

Can you give an example of a piece of work you’ve been involved with recently

I am doing my clinical placement in learning disability centre, where they use the hydrotherapy to treat the patients. It’s good to see the patients smiling. There’s a relaxed friendly relationship between the therapist and the patient which makes everyone happy.

What do you do when you’re not studying?

I play football indoors at Northumbria’s sport centre, and visit some of Newcastle historical monuments. I also find the shopping is really marvellous! I’d recommend studying here.

There’s a good mix between quality of study and there’s lots to do in the city.
