The Assura Scholarship will award one highly gifted Undergraduate student who chooses to study on one of the below eligible Healthcare courses* with £3,500 during their first year of Undergraduate study only. The money can be used to enhance the overall university learning experience.
Assura engaged Northumbria University through the CHASE (Centre for Health And Social Equity) capital development project, attending a stakeholder session at The Baltic in June 2022. Subsequently, they have pledged to support Northumbria's Higher Education Without Barriers campaign targeted towards scholarship funding.
“It has never been so important to assist our health & care workers in training than it is now, and I am thrilled that this year we are supporting a student from Northumbria University. The support will be directly for students living in or around Cramlington and we hope to see them in our brand-new health and care academy once complete” - Jonathan Murphy CEO.
