Early Payment Bird Discount

THE EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT OFFER HAS NOW ENDED 

Northumbria University Early Bird Discount - £500 discount from your fees if you apply by 31 March 2018

Northumbria University is committed to supporting students achieve their goals. The Early Bird Discount seeks to award students who choose to begin a new course or continue their studies and gain a Masters qualification at Northumbria University.

If you apply to study on a full-time Masters course by 31 March 2018, you will automatically receive a £500 fee waiver.

This discount applies to full-time postgraduate taught Masters programmes, and is available to students studying at the Newcastle upon Tyne campus.

Students studying for full-time or part-time courses can also take advantage of our interest free easy payment scheme, and may be eligible to apply for a Postgraduate Loan of up to £10,280 to cover the cost of fees and provide some support towards living costs whilst studying.*

 To be eligible for the Early Bird Discount, you must:

  • be a UK, Home** or EU applicant
  • apply for a full-time postgraduate taught Masters course by 31 March 2018
  • meet the conditions of your offer, and accept an offer to study at Northumbria University on a full-time taught Masters course

  • Students in receipt of Early Bird Discount will be entitled to Alumni Discount (if applicable)
  • Students who are awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship will not be entitled to the Early Bird Discount
  • Students are still able to apply, and may be eligible for, the Government Loan and other sources of finance to support PGT study. For more detail visit https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/study-at-northumbria/fees-funding/pg-fees-funding/
  • Early Bird Discount is awarded as a fee waiver and is not a cash sum
  • Early Bird Discount only applies to full Masters courses, studied full-time on campus starting in September 2018
  • Early Bird Discount does not apply to Certificate and Diploma programmes
  • Early Bird Discount does not apply to students studying programmes funded by the TDA
  • Early Bird Discount does not apply to students studying programmes funded by the NHS
  • Early Bird Discount does not apply to students undertaking CPD or professional qualifications
  • Early Bird Discount does not apply to sponsored students or students who are not paying their own fees
  • If you have deferred a place on a Masters course from a previous year, you will not be eligible for the Early Bird Discount
  • International students are not eligible for the Early Bird Discount
  • Northumbria reserves the right to withdraw this scheme at any point
  • The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal

**Home- normally, in order to be classed as a home student, you will need to have been living in the UK for at least three years for purposes other than education and have settled status. Further information can be found by referring to the UKCISA website
