100% fee waivers for remarkable Masters students

A unique opportunity for you to join us for a full-time Masters in September 2018, with a 100% fee waiver.

If you’re ready to make a remarkable impact on the world, you’re interested in one of our selected Masters courses and you meet all of the eligibility criteria detailed below, then what are you waiting for?

To be eligible to apply for the #TakeOnTomorrow Scholarship scheme, you must:

  • be a UK, Home* or EU member state applicant who has achieved a first-class or 2:1 honours degree or equivalent, from any UK higher education institution or EU higher education institution. Please click here for a list of EU equivalent qualifications 
  • apply for an eligible Masters course (see which courses apply below) beginning in September 2018, and be in receipt of an offer from Northumbria University
  • meet the conditions of your offer, and accept an offer to study at Northumbria University on an eligible full-time taught Masters course
  • be a self-funded student (including students who are in receipt of the Government Masters loan)
  • not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer funded and/or other charity funded scholarships

  • Students selected for a #TakeOnTomorrow scholarship will no longer be eligible for any other Postgraduate discounts
  • The #TakeOnTomorrow Scholarship is awarded as a fee waiver and is not a cash sum
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on the scholarship application form - your course application form will not be considered
  • Students will receive a full tuition fee discount on full-time eligible courses studied at City and Coach Lane Campus only
  • The reduction to the PGT fees will be made following enrolment
  • If your course is longer than one year, the scholarship will be provided in the first year of study
  • If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn
  • Northumbria reserves the right to withdraw this scheme at any point
  • The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal

  • There is a competitive selection process for this scholarship scheme. Applicants need to apply via online written application; a selection panel will consider all eligible applications
  • Applications will be considered on the strength of response to, in 250 words: how will a scholarship at Northumbria University help you to take on tomorrow?
  • If you are currently studying for your degree, you do not need to wait for your final classification before applying
  • If successful, the award of the scholarship will be made conditional upon you achieving the required degree classification before commencement of the course
  • Successful applicants will be notified once the panel of evaluators has met, by the end of April 2018

*Home- normally, in order to be classed as a home student, you will need to have been living in the UK or an EU member state for at least three years for purposes other than education and have settled status. Further information can be found by referring to the UKCISA website
