Northumbria University - Early Payment Discount

2025/26 Early Payment Discount

For Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught International students joining Northumbria University in September 2025.

The Early Payment Discount (EPD) will award students who pay their deposits by 31 May 2025* with a £500 tuition fee discount.

This discount applies to full fees for the academic year 25/26.

Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the Early Payment Discount, you must:

  • Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
  • Have paid your deposit by 31 May 2025
  • Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
  • Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, in September 2025
  • Meet all individual course requirements

Important Information

  • The Early Payment Discount is applied automatically as a fee discount, you do not need to make a separate application
  • The EPD is for new students joining in September 2025 only.  Continuing students are not eligible.
  • Any student who has transferred fees by the above date which has not yet been credited to Northumbria will also receive the discount (proof will be required that funds were transferred before deadline date)
  • Students who enrol on courses that are not eligible for International Country Scholarships are eligible for the EPD, including Advanced Practice / Study Abroad courses
  • The EPD is awarded in addition to the UG/PGT Country Scholarships and Alumni Discount
  • The EPD is not available to overseas students on Undergraduate courses delivered with the International Soccer Academy (i2i)
  • Students who study via Distance Learning are not eligible for the EPD
  • International Foundation Programme and International Year One (Pathways) students are not eligible for the EPD
  • Students who have already paid full or 50% fees are also eligible for the Early Payment Discount
  • Students who wish to pay additional funds to ensure they pay 50% or full fees by 31 May 2025 are also eligible
  • Northumbria reserves the right to withdraw the scheme at any point
  • Northumbria's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal

 

* Please note the above date is not the deposit deadline, which will be earlier for CAS processing.
