*Terms and Conditions
To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:
- Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
- Be domiciled in Malaysia, Hong Kong or United States of America
- Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
- Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2023 or January 2024 (**see exclusions below)
- Meet all individual course requirements

- Any Advanced Practice or Study Abroad Masters course
- Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Adult) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Child) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Mental Health) MSc
- Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) MSc
- Midwifery Studies MSc
- Social Work MA
- LPC, LPC Dip, Bar, Bar LLM
- Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) / Common Professional Examination (CPE)
- Healthcare Management MSc
- Master of Public Health or Master of Public Health (Nutrition)
- Construction Project Management with BIM MSc
- Project Management MSc
- Data Science MSc
Important Information
- The International Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, so you do not need to make a separate application
- Students on an Advanced Practice or Study Abroad Masters who transfer to the non-Advanced Practice or non-study Abroad route more than four weeks after the start of their course, will not be eligible for the International Scholarship
- Sponsored students are not eligible for the International Scholarship
- Students who are progressing from a partner institute where reduced fees and bespoke offers have been agreed, are not eligible for the International Scholarship
- Students studying on an Integrated Masters course are not eligible for the International Scholarship in their final year
- The International Scholarship is awarded as a fee discount and is not a cash sum
- This scholarship is for new students only. If you are a graduate of Northumbria University, you may be eligible for the Alumni Discount; please refer to the Alumni Discount page
- If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn
- The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal
