We are delighted to offer the Northumbria International Scholarship, awarding Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students* joining in September 2023 or January 2024 with a £2,000 fee discount, simply for choosing to study with us.

*Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:

Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
Be domiciled in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nigeria or the Gulf (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar)
Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2023 or January 2024 (**see exclusions below)
Meet all individual course requirements

Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) MSc
Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Adult) MSc
Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Child) MSc
Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Mental Health) MSc
Nursing Science Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) MSc
Midwifery Studies MSc
Social Work MA
LPC, LPC Dip, Bar, Bar LLM
Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) / Common Professional Examination (CPE)
Healthcare Management MSc
Master of Public Health or Master of Public Health (Nutrition)
Construction Project Management with BIM MSc
Project Management MSc
Data Science MSc

Important Information

The International Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, so you do not need to make a separate application
Students on an Advanced Practice or Study Abroad Masters who transfer to the non-Advanced Practice or non-study Abroad route more than four weeks after the start of their course, will not be eligible for the International Scholarship
Sponsored students are not eligible for the International Scholarship
Students who are progressing from a partner institute where reduced fees and bespoke offers have been agreed, are not eligible for the International Scholarship
Students studying on an Integrated Masters course are not eligible for the International Scholarship in their final year
The International Scholarship is awarded as a fee discount and is not a cash sum
This scholarship is for new students only. If you are a graduate of Northumbria University, you may be eligible for the Alumni Discount; please refer to the Alumni Discount page
If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn
The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal
