RESEARCH

Research in the department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is centered around six research groups. These groups address issues spanning all aspects of health and social care, from educating the workforce, to delivering and organising care, and also encompassing experiences of health, illness, and care.

Researchers in the department come from diverse disciplinary backgrounds with expertise in a wide range of theoretical and methodological approaches. We engage in multisectoral, interdisciplinary and international collaborations and contribute to the University’s multidisciplinary research theme (MDRT) ‘Integrated Health and Social Care’.
