Vietnam

The University has a long history of accepting Vietnamese students onto its Vietnamdegree programmes. Our Vietnamese students are enrolled on programmes as diverse as Advertising and Media Studies, Arts, Business with Financial Management, Computing and Information Sciences, Global Financial Management, Finance and Investment Management, International Business Management, Mass Communication Management, Public Administration and many more.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

For entry to: You will need: Grade Required:
International Foundation Programme

Upper Secondary School Graduation Diploma

Completion YR 12 average grade 5.0 or 50%

Completion of YR 11 average grade 6.5 or 65%
1st Year Undergraduate

Upper Secondary School Graduation Diploma:

Completion of Yr 12 with 8.0 or 80%
Postgraduate Programmes University Degree 6/10 (or 60%) for 2:2 courses

7/10 (or 70%) for 2:1 courses
Graduate Certificate University Degree 5/10 (or 50%)

Please note these are general entry guidelines. Actual requirements may vary depending on your chosen course of study and certain courses may have specific or additional entry requirements, full details can be found on our course directory. Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements, previous study information and not just your final course grading.
