Northumbria University welcomes applicants from Rwanda with a range of qualifications across our pathway, undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses.

Please note that the following are general entry guidelines for students from Rwanda. Actual requirements may vary depending on your chosen course of study, and some courses may have specific or additional entry criteria; full details are available in our course directory. Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements and previous study information, not just your final course grading.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

International Foundation Programme  Certificate of Higher Education 70% / distinction
Diploma in Higher Education 65% / satisfaction
1st Year Undergraduate  Certificate of Higher Education 80% / grande distinction
Diploma in Higher Education 75% / distinction 
Advanced Undergraduate Advanced Diploma in Higher Education  80% / grande distinction
Postgraduate Programmes  Bathelor Degree (Hons) 70% / distinction for courses requiring a 2:2

80% / grande distinction for courses requiring a 2:1
Bachelor Degree (ordinary) 75% / distinction for courses requiring a 2:2

85% / grande distinction for courses requiring a 2:1
Graduate Certificate Bathelor Degree (Hons) 50% / Satisfaction
