Our Alumni - Work For Us
At Northumbria University, we offer a wide range of opportunities for students to study abroad as part of their degree programme, or by taking part in an International Short Programme over the summer.
For some students the opportunity to study their subject in a different academic environment is key, and for others the opportunity to live in another culture and interact with students of different nationalities is the real attraction. That is why we offer exciting opportunities for you to study and visit countries all over the world, including Japan, Australia, France and the USA.
Over 200 Northumbria students study abroad each academic year, considerably increasing their employability prospects. Students usually study abroad for one semester or a full academic year, in which time you will not only gain unforgettable experiences and memories, but also personal contacts that you can benefit from for years to come.
