NU World Virtual Open Day FAQs 15/07/2020

To gain full access to NU World and view our live broadcasts during the Virtual Open Day, we recommend you use Google Chrome from a laptop, PC or Mac. Other web browsers which support NU World but may not allow you to fully access all elements of the virtual event are Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, and Mozilla Firefox. Unfortunately, we don’t currently support Internet Explorer 12, but you can use any of the latest and greatest web browsers we’ve listed. You can also access NU World from a smartphone or tablet.

Firstly, make sure your password is at least 10 characters long and contains 1 Number and Symbol. Secondly, make sure you complete all the fields on the registration form. Finally, make sure your password matches.  If you have already registered for NU World then go directly to the login page https://nuworld.northumbria.ac.uk/nuworld/login

If you still have problems, contact us via live chat.

Simply go to: https://nuworld.northumbria.ac.uk/nuworld/forgotten-password to reset your password don’t forget your new password needs to be at least 10 characters long and 1 Number and Symbol.

If you have changed your mind or simply want to know more about all the live events you can attend, return to https://nuworld.northumbria.ac.uk/nuworld/virtual-open-day/ and click ‘change my itinerary’ to change and update it either during the Virtual Open Day or before.

Cameras and microphones are not required for the live sessions. Click 'X'on the right hand side of the live broadcast screen to close the message and join the live event.

We have some great content to share with you but some of the files are large. Bear with us – at busy times when there is a lot of people on the platform it may take a little while longer to load, but it will be worth the (very short) wait.
