Jill Dunn, Director of Student Engagement

Jill has worked at Northumbria since 2017, joining Applicant Services to support the delivery of a new system to enhance the processing of student application forms.

She then worked on various projects to improve the student experience, latterly within the Customer Experience Programme.

Jill moved to her current post in October 2024, retaining responsibility for delivering various student experience projects, whilst also leading the teams that deliver Student Knowledge, ensure Student Attendance and Engagement (including analytics), and provide support for Student Queries within a 24/7 operation that receives enquiries by email, phone, CRM systems and Face-to-Face. These teams are called Student Knowledge, Student Success and Ask 4 Help, respectively.

Before joining Northumbria, Jill worked in many industries including Financial Services, SaaS, Contact Centres, Telecomms, and Wholesale Drinks and worked with numerous  companies, from medium sized entrepreneurs to larger Blue Chips.
