Academic Congregations Winter 2024
Extra Tickets
Bookings for the December 2024 Academic Congregations have now closed. We are now able to release a limited number of additional guest tickets for some ceremonies.
Unfortunately, no additional guest tickets will be released for the Congregation on Tuesday 3 December at 4 pm as this ceremony is now fully booked.
The number of guest tickets released will vary per ceremony. If your ceremony is eligible for extra tickets, a booking link will be sent to you by email in the week commencing the 4th November for the purchase of tickets. We need to release them in batches by ceremony for the loading on our booking system. Each ticket will be at a charge of £15.
These will be available on a first come, first served basis and will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
Extra ticket sales will close as soon as capacity is reached or by the final booking deadline of 20 November. Your booking confirmation will be emailed to you on the 25th November along with further joining information.

Deferring your ceremony if you cannot attend
If you cannot attend your congregation ceremony for personal reasons, you can apply for deferral. Once you have received your invitation, you can opt to attend a future ceremony by completing the Deferral Application Form. Please note if you wish to attend a Congregation, you must attend within one year of being awarded. You should apply for deferral before the date of your original ceremony, any deferral applications submitted retrospectively will not be considered.
