Alumni
Alumni
Northumbria University is renowned for the calibre of its business-ready graduates. Our alumni network has over 246,000 graduates based in 178 countries worldwide in a range of sectors, our alumni are making a real impact on the world.
Our Alumni - Work For Us
Currently ranked first in the UK for graduate start-ups, based on turnover, Northumbria aims to be the UK’s leading entrepreneurial university. By 2025, enterprise will be embedded into the learning experience of students, and graduates will be equipped with an entrepreneurial mind-set, as well as the creativity and determination to succeed through their chosen career
Our vision is to make the North East the best place in the UK to start a business and cement Northumbria University’s position as the UK’s leading entrepreneurial university. This means building on our existing offer to enable every student with a business idea to benefit from our support and enhancing and developing that support to make it more likely that these businesses will succeed.
The purpose built incubator will facilitate the growth of enterprise and entrepreneurship activity through one hub. Its primary aim: To provide high quality support for student and graduate entrepreneurs to give them the best possible opportunity to establish and grow thriving local businesses.
To harness support for the incubator for our students and alumni, the University is creating an Enterprise Club and Enterprise Fund and in June 2019 will host 3 cultivation dinners in Newcastle, London and Amsterdam to share our ambitions and harness support.
