Dr Heather Robson

Dr Heather Robson is Pro Vice-Chancellor for the Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences (Interim) at Northumbria University.

Heather leads on the strategic priorities for the faculty, particularly in developing interdisciplinary research and education projects, so that the University’s research is highly innovative and the education programmes are sector-leading.

Heather works closely with the University Executive shaping and delivering the University’s Vision, Strategy and supporting plans. She leads and directs the faculty’s activities and drives performance to achieve transformational change within the context of the University’s Vision, Strategy, plans, policies and procedures.

Heather is responsible for the overall performance of the faculty, including all aspects of academic provision, achieving targets and objectives for the faculty and University, and for the management, leadership and effective deployment of the faculty’s resources and estate.
