I wanted to get into managing a business, and fashion inspired me, so I took up a MA fashion Management degree, later I did my blended MBA course from London Metropolitan UK as well to support my Business skills, I'm looking forward to growing further and maybe someday to even join and be part of your Northumbria University project management, management or HR team. 

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

I found the perfect course I was searching for from Northumbria university when I really needed it. Just the modules I wanted to learn and understand.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

There were a mix of good lectures, our tutors were such lovely people who had so much information and were happy to help whenever we needed. A bunch of good team projects and individuals work as well. The course was competitive and so exciting.

How connected was your course with industry?

We had very interesting lecturers and we had Baby Gap’s HR department come in for our final presentation as well, such exciting and motivating projects we had.

What was the best thing about your course?

The University facilities, the volunteer opportunities, the classmates and the tutors.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

My Career goals were entrepreneurial, and my Fashion Management course really helped understand and paved my understanding to the business clearer.

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

Management.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

The university facilities.

What advice would you give somebody who is considering studying at Northumbria?

It would be that Northumbria Uni provides its students with well made courses, and there are a vast number of courses within the same field a prospective student can choose from.

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

Competitive. Informative. Driven.
