Career Path: Junior Designer - Anthem Worldwide, Nestle
Location: York, UK

I create various graphic design projects for Nestlé products, I am a lead animator in the York office creating videos for all major Nestlé brands. This includes an animation series for Kitkat international which will be shown in all major airports.

I am a Junior Designer, mainly focusing on graphic design and digital design.

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

The alumni is a strong persuader and the variety within the course.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

Overall I was really impressed, the lecturers were varied in their fields which meant a large variety of feedback and support.

How connected was your course with industry?

I had two placements and a lot of live projects, which really helped in getting me a job!

What was the best thing about your course?

The lecturers as they always supported me with any queries I had throughout the course of my studies.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

Through the live projects and placements.

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

Design thinking, which I am using in my everyday job.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

The city.

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

Definitely worth it!
