Peter Lo

We have Mark Greenwood to thank for uncovering a bit about Pete’s life because sadly, all the evidence – or lack of it, suggests that Peter died around 2008/9.

After Newcastle he went back to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia where he worked at a number of ad agencies including JWT, Leo Burnett, Lintas and Ted Bates as a writer and creative director working on HSBC, Nescafe, Carlsberg, Toyota, Volvo and JPS. He won awards including a Clio for Electrolux.

He set up his own agency called MagicMakers, his clients included Sarawak Convention Bureau and the Sarawak Tourism board, he won an award at ITB 2008 in Germany for his work for them. Clients included AffinBank and Middlesex University.

He was a member of the Malaysian ad agency organisation '4As' in 2008

Mark emailed his old agencies, clients, the ‘4As’ and individuals, but no-one has any information on him. His online activity all stops in 2008.
