What was it about
Northumbria University that made you want to study here?
Before
starting at Northumbria, I had heard of the good reputation of the university
in general as well as for nursing.
What do you like
about studying at Northumbria?
I
do a mix of placement and university, which within we do practical sessions on
nursing skills. I
enjoy the practical side of my course, particularly within placements. I’m also part of the
Nursing Society.
How were you awarded
the scholarship & what benefits has it provided for you?
I
was selected for my scholarship in my first year, and my donor decided to
continue supporting me into my second year. My
scholarship has helped me buy things to support my learning such as books and
equipment like a stethoscope etc.
