Enterprise-Rent-A-Car provide support for ten new scholarships

In 2021, Enterprise Rent-A-Car established an inaugural Business and Management Scholarship. Following this success, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has extended its support ten-fold with a five-figure donation to establish ten postgraduate scholarships. Launching in September 2022, five will be Business and management-focused, and a further five Sports scholarships are planned for 2023.

Louise Sivewright, Talent Acquisition Marketing Specialist at Enterprise shared, "Enterprise Rent-A-Car is proud to support this wonderful initiative and provide students at Northumbria the opportunity to enhance their university experience and education. I look forward to seeing the impact the scholarships have and the opportunities they create."

James Wilkinson, Development Executive at Northumbria University commented, "It is fantastic to extend our successful partnership with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, who aligned their organisational values with our Higher Education Without Barriers campaign, providing invaluable support for students to access Northumbria University”.

Projects like this are being funded with money raised by the University’s fundraising campaign, Higher Education Without Barriers. Northumbria is partnering with alumni, businesses, and other supporters to provide a range of financial initiatives, mental health and wellbeing services, and community-based projects, to make participation and progression in higher education more achievable for academically talented students, regardless of their social or economic circumstances.
