Access free CPD & support future generations of Northumbria University students!

Santander Universities UK has worked in partnership with Northumbria University since 2015, donating £1.5 million to support high-quality education, enterprise and employability programmes that benefit students, alumni and University staff. They have pledged to continue this support and committed a further £150,000 of funding until 2025.

The Santander Open Academy is a a free online-learning hub with over 1,000 courses, content, and scholarships annually. With Santander Open Academy, you can boost your brilliance with courses in digital skills, leadership, net zero and more. These are on-demand courses, helping you build the skills you need for the future. Earn credentials and certificates while learning anytime, anywhere, for free!

The platform offers a user-friendly interface with an array of educational resources and skill-enhancing content in addition to online courses and scholarships. Users of the platform can expect to enhance their career prospects and acquire valuable skills that align with the demands of today's job market.

As a graduate, you can take advantage of all these opportunities for free while supporting future generations of Northumbria students. For every registration on the platform, Santander will donate £1.20 to the University’s Higher Education Without Barriers Fund which provides a range of financial initiatives, mental health and wellbeing services and community-based projects to make participation and progression in higher education more achievable for academically talented students regardless of their social or economic circumstances.

You don’t need to be a Santander customer to access the Open Academy and if every member of our Alumni Association registered on this platform, we could raise over £290,000 for the Fund.
