  • An introduction to hoarding behaviours and an explanation of the demographic, social and psychological characteristics underlying such behaviours. Delivered by a leading UK expert on hoarding (Professor Nick Neave).
  • An account of the effect of hoarding behaviours on housing services and support delivered by a Local Authority Housing Manager.
  • An account of the effects of hoarding behaviours on environmental health services in relation to self-neglect and safety issues delivered by a Local Authority Environmental Health Officer.
  • An account of the effects of animal hoarding, and how this requires multi-agency involvement, delivered by a Local Authority Environmental Health Officer.
  • An account of the personal and environmental safety implications for hoarding behaviours delivered by a Community Safety Officer for the Fire & Rescue Service.
  • The opportunity to ask questions and discuss your own case studies with the Team.
