Our Higher and Degree Apprenticeship programmes combine university study and workplace learning. These specialist courses are co-designed with employers to ensure they are providing the skills that industry is looking for. Apprentices enrolled on higher and degree apprenticeships are employed and divide their time between the workplace and flexible university study.

In order to apply for one of our apprenticeship programmes apprentices are required to be in full-time employment. If you are in current employment with an organisation who would like to develop your skills, they can fund your apprenticeship via their levy (if they are a levy payer) or via government funding (if they are a non levy payer). If you are interested in becoming an apprentice with Northumbria University and you are not currently in full-time employment view our vacancies section for the latest opportunities with a range of organisations.

Find out further information about how to become an apprentice below or contact us today to discuss your needs in detail.
